The industrial park is located in the straight-through supervision station at the customs port of Dongying Economic and Technological Development Zone. It is planned to construct three workshops: the 200,000t waste household appliances, and electronic wires and cables dismantling workshop, electrolytic copper cathode metal workshop with an annual output of 150,000 tons, and the rare and scattered metal extraction workshop.

The project adopts the advanced dismantling equipment imported from developed countries; the dismantled products are used in the production of copper cathodes. The cathode copper produced with the international mature fire refining method and electrolytic devices is widely used in the manufacturing of various types of wires and cables, copper tubes and rods, and all kinds of alloys. For the rare and scattered metal extraction project, the currently domestic advanced integrated extraction technology is adopted, which is efficient, green and energy saving, being able to realize the comprehensive recovery of valuable metals in copper anode mud, and the comprehensive extraction and recovery of gold (Au), silver (Ag), platinum (Pt), palladium (Pd), selenium (Se), tellurium (Te), Nickel (Ni), lead (Pb) and other rare metals in copper anode mud, which are eventually processed into high-purity products.
